Autonomous Vehicles

Autonomous Vehicoles will not be useful to all Roads and Routes. Only for Metropolitan, sometimes Traffic less routes are Comfortable. It is not amicable to all countries. Especially in India, it is not Comfortable. Because Traffic will not be under the control of signals, Rules etc.

Always roads should have right Signalling: Right path way. Road should not be up and Downs always. Certain Extent it is ok, otherwise it will Stop there only. So it will become another Risk. Route MAPS and Well Defined WIFI Signalling should be there. Self Driving Vehicles are Comfortable in Domestic Roads, without proper Signalling, Wifi Controls, Routes, Control Boards etc.

Autonomous Vehicles: Human Drivers are never required to take control to Safely Operate the Vehicle. Also known as Autonomous or Driverless Cars, they Combine Sensors and Software to Control, Navigate, and Drive the Vehicle.

Difference between Self Driving Car and Autonomous Car: A fully Autonomous Car would be Self Aware and Capable of making its own Choices. For example, you say drive me to work but the Car decides to take you to the beach instead. A fully Automated Car, however, would follow Orders and then Drive itSelf. The term Self Driving is often used interchangeably with Autonomous.

5 levels of Autonomous Vehicles:
Level 0 - No Automation. This describes your everyday Car.
Level 1 - Driver Assistance. Here we can find your adaptive Cruise control and lane keep assist to help with Driving Fatigue.
Level 2 - Partial Automation.
Level 3 - Conditional Automation.
Level 4 - High Automation.
Level 5 - Full Automation.

What is a Level 4 Autonomous Vehicle: Level 4 is considered to be fully Autonomous Driving, although a human Driver can still request control, and the Car still has a Cockpit. In level 4, the Car can handle the Majority of Driving Situations independently.

What are the Benefits of Autonomous Cars: 90% reduction in Traffic Deaths. Yes, you read that right.
60% drop in Harmful Emissions. Fewer accidents mean less Traffic Congestion, which means a Drop in Emissions.
Eliminate stop-and-go Waves by 100%
10% improvement in Fuel Economy.
500% increase in Lane Capacity.
40% reduction in Travel time.
Consumer Savings of £5bn.

What Companies are making Autonomous Cars: Self Driving Car Companies to Know:
Cruise. Waymo. Voyage. Swift Navigation.
Embark Trucks. CarMERA. Zoox. Nauto.

What level Autonomy is Tesla: Autonomy classification. Tesla's Autopilot can be Classified as level 2 under the SAE International six levels (0 to 5) of Vehicle Automation. At this level, the Car can act Autonomously, but requires the Driver to monitor the Driving at all times and be Prepared to take Control at a moment notice.

Best Autonomous Driving:
Top Cars with AutoPilot features for 2020 and 2021:
Tesla Model 3, Y, S and X. Cadillac CT6.
Kia Telluride / Hyundai Palisade, Sonata.
Audi A6 / A8. BMW X5 and 3 Series.
Mercedes Benz E-Class and S-Class.
Nissan Leaf / Rogue. Infiniti QX50.

What is Needed for Autonomous Driving: Driverless Cars will have incredibly Sophisticated Systems, including high Performance Computers and an increasing number of advanced Driver assistance system (ADAS) Sensors, such as High Resolution Stereo and/or Mono cameras, RADAR, and LIDAR, as well as Future Human Machine interfaces (HMIs).

Who Leads in Autonomous Driving: Waymo. Navigant has Ranked Alphabet Subsidiary Waymo as the Leader in Autonomous Vehicle Technology Today. Waymo is just a small Portion of Alphabet Business. But a recent round of Fundraising Reportedly valued Waymo at more than $30 billion, roughly 50% Higher than the total Market Cap of Ford Motor Co.

What are Autonomous Vehicles: Definition. An Autonomous Car is a vehicle capable of sensing its environment and operating without human involvement. A human passenger is not required to take control of the vehicle at any time, nor is a human passenger required to be present in the vehicle at all.

Advantages of Autonomous Vehicles: Automation can help reduce the number of crashes on our roads. Government data identifies Driver behavior or error as a factor in 94 percent of crashes, and Self-Driving Vehicles can help reduce Driver error. Higher levels of Autonomy have the potential to reduce risky and dangerous Driver behaviors.

Is Autonomous Car better than Driver: Through a variety of sensing Technology and creative programming, Self Driving Cars will be able to overcome virtually every Obstacle they may face out in the traffic world. So, Self-Driving Cars are safe because, Frankly, it does not take much to be a better Driver than Humans.

Advanced Self Driving Car: Honda Legend. Honda has launched the world most advanced Self-Driving Car - the Honda Legend with Level 3 Autonomous Driving releasing an initial batch of 100 models in Japan. The Legend is capable of adaptive Driving in lanes, as well as passing and switching lanes under certain circumstances.
