you will find in the market. The list includes Liquid detergent, Liquid handwash,
face wash etc. The Liquid Soap making process is simple. You can start the business
as the small-scale basis also.
What are the ingredients for making Liquid Soap:
For 40 liters of Liquid Soap you will need:
6-16 teaspoons - Sodium Laurate Sulphate (SLS);
480 g. - C.M.C (Carboxy methyl cellulos)/ Antisol/ Nitrosol;
10 – 20 teaspoons – Texapon;
2 l. - Sulphonic Acid;
165 g. - Caustic Soda;
35 l. – water;
245 g. - Soda Ash;
6-16 teaspoons - Formaline (may not use);
Can you make your own Liquid Soap:
To make Liquid Soap, start by heating coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil,
and jojoba oil in a crockpot. Then, add some potassium hydroxide flakes
to a bowl of water and Pour the mixture into the crockpot with the oils.
Stir the mixture continuously until it thickens.

but the most common method is to make a Soap Paste using the hot process method.
The primary difference between Liquid Soap and bar Soaps is that potassium
hydroxide (KOH) is used in place of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) for the lye solution.
How can you make Liquid Soap thicker:
To thicken Liquid Soap base, first make a salt water solution. Then, Pour
your Soap base into a mixing container. Add a small amount of the salt
water solution directly to the Soap base, and stir. The amount you use will
depend on how thick you want the Soap to be.
Can you melt bar Soap to make Liquid Soap:

Gather scraps of old bar Soap equal to 4 ounces, which is the weight of a
regular bar of Soap. You could also use a new bar of Soap. Heat the Soap pieces
in a pot with approximately 8 to 9 cups of water until it melts.
How do you make homemade hand wash Liquid:
Liquid Hand Wash.
Grate or finely chop a bar of Soap.
Pour water in a saucepan and bring it to boil.
Stir it constantly until Soap dissolves into the water.
Allow the mixture to cool for at least 15 minutes.
Keep it aside and let it cool for 7-8 hours.
Stir to check the consistency.
How do you make homemade antibacterial hand wash:
Pour Castile Soap into your bottle until it is 1/4 full.
Add 2 T of Almond Oil.
Add 1 T of Vegetable Glycerin.
Add the following essential oils: Lavender – 15 drops.
Cedarwood Atlas – 8-10 drops. Tea Tree – 8-10 drops.
Fill to the top with distilled H2O.
How long does homemade Liquid Soap last:
You must use a preservative in lotions, otherwise you may get about 2 weeks
out of them before stuff starts growing. As for Liquid Soaps if you do a plus
lye ratio and neturalize the left over they should have a good shelf life.
I have a bottle of shampoo that I made 16 to 18 months ago and it is still fine.
What is the foaming agent in Liquid Soap:
Foam or lather is created when foaming agents in Soaps, detergents and shampoos
mix with air and water. The most common foaming agents used in personal care are
chemicals sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), sodium lauryl sulfate
(sometimes referred to as sodium dodecyl sulfate or SLS) and coco-glucoside.
Does salt thicken Liquid Soap:
Add the salt solution to Liquid Soap base to thicken. Even though it is salt water
which thickens the Soap when added in small amounts, that much extra water dilutes
the Soap texture. Ick! Sometimes, you do not need to thicken Soap with salt
solution because your fragrance or essential oil will do the work for you.
